Text description provided by the architects. On the important urban crossing of The Periférico and Via Atlixcayotl in the Angelópolis area of Pueba is located ADAMANT, a new complex of 30 levels of mixed uses that has become the leading project in sustainability and comfort in the most important area of development in Puebla.
The new urban center includes 20,000 m2 of housing divided into 175 lofts ranging from 50 m2 to 120 m2. At the same time, Adamant seeks to enrich the urban fabric creating a commercial area in front of the complex ensuring 24 hours of public life providing equipment, services and security to its users. The accessibility of the location and the transport facilities make the whole complex a landmark that focuses on densification, optimization and building community.
A Living Sculpture
The monolithic tower emerges as a torso on the horizon. The homogeneous stone materials of this building become a sculpture: black granite and glass merge to give rise to geometric experimentation. This result allows architectural experimentation and combines the luxury and comfort through octagonal floor plans that are the way to obtain a broader department facade. Through the design of fractal patterns, the main tower results in a patchwork of garden terraces that open to the sky and landscape to address the inhabitant to spectacular views and also bathe the interior with light and cozyness.
Building Community
The precise objective for the design of ADAMANT was to reduce the dwelling unit to optimize resources and spaces and therefore widen the public areas, in other words: the objective was to design community.
The vision of the project is that the user can live, work and consume in a highly densified urban area to save on travel and therefore root to a friendly community that has all the services and amenities. The commercial downtown area functions as its base, this is a public area of two levels that plays with the tower’s geometry unfolding itself to latter become housing units and give way to an integral complex.
Considering the current market for a heterogeneous society and a new perspective of different and inclusive family conformations, departments are designed for those individuals who need independent, manageable and comfortable spaces. All residents have the same access to the common areas and form a strong community of neighbors.
Door to Puebla
In the urban context, ADAMANT engages in a close dialogue with the tower which faces across the avenue, the JV-tower the tallest in the state. In a proper integration with the rest of the buildings and the proximity of the highway to Atlixco, ADAMANT is located in a strategic position to welcome passers crossing the highway to Puebla through a symbolic gate between two almost symmetrical towers in height and proportion who resemble the voice of progress.
This new urban icon together a new social vision and the highest architectural design. It positions itself as a paradigm of the new real estate projects because it is a conscious building with its users and its context by designing city and community responsibly.
